Business identity
Once you’re certified, your business gets a WBWO number and a public record. Anyone, anywhere, can check it in seconds, so you spend less time proving who you are and more time trading.
What you get
- A permanent WBWO number, such as WBWO-KE-19-0412
- A public record showing your country, sector, certification status and last audit date
- A seal generated from your number, printed on your certificate and shown on your record
- A printable certificate, reissued every year you stay certified
- A digital badge for your website, invoices and email signature that links to your live record
How it works
Get certified
Complete the identity and business checks and your audit. Identity comes with certification and isn’t sold separately.
Receive your number and seal
We issue your WBWO number the day you’re certified. It stays the same for as long as you’re a member.
Show it where partners look
Add the badge to your website and the number to quotes, invoices and contracts.
Keep it current
Your record updates when you renew. If certification lapses, the record says so.
What your public record never shows
- Your documents
- Owners’ and directors’ personal details
- Financial figures or audit findings
- Bank details
Questions
- Can someone copy our badge or certificate?
- They can copy the picture, but not the record. The badge links to your live record on wbwo.org, and the seal on a genuine certificate matches the seal on that record. Anyone who spots a mismatch can report it to verify@wbwo.org.
- Does the WBWO number replace our company registration number?
- No. It sits alongside your official registration. It tells partners abroad that an independent organization has checked that registration, and a good deal more.
